PURCHASING FROM OUR WEBSITE
By completing an online order, you are making an offer to purchase the product(s) at the price offered on our website www.clothandhide.com.au
Payment must be made at the time of submitting the online order. Payments can be made by Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Paypal or Afterpay. You warrant that you are the authorised user of the credit card, Paypal, or Afterpay account used to complete the payment.
All online orders placed through this website are subject to confirmation and approval of Cloth & Hide. We will email you the confirmation receipt of your online order via the email addresses entered when making the purchase. Cloth & Hide may reject your online order for any reason and refund any payment made by you, at any time prior to dispatch.
A shipping confirmation email will only be sent to you once your order has been dispatched. The confirmation email will be sent to the email address entered when making the purchase.
It may take up to 3 business days to process an order.
Cloth & Hide’s prices may vary in the event of price changes or mistakes on this website without prior notice to you.
Our company will refund purchases if the item is sent back strictly within 7 days of purchase minus $17.99 shipping and handling fee. Afterpay is a separate entity, and enquiries in its regard must be emailed to them directly.
How do 'pre-orders' work?
Occasionally selected products will be available for Pre-Order. The expected delivery period will be noted in the description of the product on our online store. At the time you place your order, you will be required to pay the full price to secure your pre-order
You should expect a delayed period between the purchase of the product & the actual delivery of the product. Delivery dates are subject to change & our customer care team will be in touch should there be any unexpected delays with your order.
Standard return policies apply to all pre-orders.
**Pre-order products are often a limited product and, although we encourage you to secure them, we also ask that you commit and are certain of your pre-order. The due date on pre-order items are an APPROXIMATE delivery date which may vary. This is up to the discretion of Cloth & Hide. We do not take cancellations on pre orders or refunds prior to shipping. Our exchange and return policies to normal purchases apply.**
All sales are subject to our returns policy.
Cloth & Hide offers refunds on goods due to change of mind, however the customer will be charged a $17.99 shipping and handling fee to cover costs. Cloth & Hide will only offer a full refund if the garment is faulty beyond repair and there is no replacement. Please see more information below under our ‘Faulty Policy’.
All returns; within Australia and internationally need to be requested and logged for return within 7 days of receiving the item. If you are outside the timeframe stated above, Cloth & Hide reserves the right to deny your return.
The item/s must be in original condition, with all tags remaining in place. Item/s must not be worn, washed or altered in any way.
Sale items - including flash sales or discount offers will not be accepted for return, exchange or credit note.
Cloth & Hide monitors returns to identify potential abuse or misuse of our returns policy. Continued returns will be flagged and potentially refused at our discretion, or lead to the closure of your Cloth & Hide account.
Every product we send out is initially quality controlled, however, if you have received a product with a manufacturing fault we will happily replace it as long as it has been returned within 10 days of purchase. Cloth & Hide will also refund you, the customer any shipping costs incurred to return a product with a manufacturing fault.
If you receive a faulty item, please contact us as soon as you have received your order. This way we can guide you through the returns process and help resolve the problem. Please email email@example.com and provide an image of the damage, defect or fault for preliminary assessment.
If the product is confirmed to have a manufacturing fault, we will replace the product. If a replacement is not available, you will be refunded through your original payment method. If the product is found not to have a defect or deemed out of warranty, we will ship the product back to you.
It does not constitute a defect, if in our reserved opinion, the product has, following the sale to you, become of unacceptable quality due to fair wear and tear, misuse or failure to observe care instructions.
Gift cards are automatically emailed to the customer once purchased. Issuing a unique code to the email address input at the checkout. If the customer partially uses their gift certificate in one transaction, the remaining balance will be automatically updated and a new code will be issued to you via the email used in the initially purchase.
Gift cards are valid for one (1) year from the date of purchase. Gift cards are not redeemable for cash. Cloth & Hide does not take responsibility for lost or stolen gift cards. If an order is made using a gift card and then returned, the portion of the purchase attributable to the gift card will be refunded as an online store credit only. Gift card purchases may be subject to secret checks from time to time, resulting in longer processing time.
Store credits are applied to the account registered with the same email address used to place your order. Store credits can not be transferred to another account. Store credit is valid for 6 months . Any balance payments that remain after the 6 months, will not be available to use. Store credit does not incur interest nor can it be redeemed for refunded for cash. If an order is made using store credit and returned, the portion of the purchase attributable to the store credit will be restored to your account only.
Cloth & Hide will occasionally have special offers that can be applied to your order by using a promotional code. In order to take advantage of these promotions, you must enter the promotional code in the space provided at the checkout process and hit the ‘apply’ buttons. The value of the promotion will be applied to your order automatically.
If you have not applied the promotional code but your order was placed during the event contact our team straight after you have placed the order. It is up to Cloth & Hide’s discretion to refund you the discounted amount.
Please note, only one promotional code may be used per transaction, unless otherwise specified each promotion code may only be used once per customer.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY AND RIGHTS
The website and all of it content, including but not limited to, its software or HTML code, scripts, text, artwork, photographs, images, videos and audio are the intellectual property of Cloth & Hide. All content is provided by Cloth & Hide as a service to its current and prospective customers and may be used for personal use and purchasing purposes. You may not use this website or any of its content for any commercial purposes, including advertising or advertising revenue generating activity on your own website. Any Unauthorised copying, alteration, distribution, transmission, performance, display or theory use of the materials is prohibited. Reproduction or misuse of any trademarks and logos on the website are strictly prohibited. Cloth & Hide and its affiliated suppliers retain all rights in regarding their trademarks, trade names, brand names and trade dress. These names and trade dress, and all associated logos or images, are the register and or common law trademark and are protected by local and international laws and treaties.
ACCEPTABLE USE OF OUR WEBSITE
You agree that; you will not misuse our services, you will not make any speculative or fraudulent orders. You will not conduct systematic or automated data collection activities. You will not alter another website so that it false implies that you are affiliated with Cloth & Hide. You may only use the website to make legitimate and genuine orders and inquires. You are responsible for all use of your account, and for ensuring that all use of your account complies full with our terms. Termination of access - Access to this website may be terminated by us at anytime without notice.
TERMINATION OF ACCESS
Cloth & Hide may terminate the services of any portion thereof, or any product or service through the website.
You have the right to expect that - 1. any products you order through the website will be of satisfactory quality, fit for their intended purpose, and will confirm to the description given on the site. 2. Certain remedies will be followed if a product is agreed to be defective. 3/ You have the choice for a full refund or store credit if a defective product can not be repaired of replaced.
Your privacy is of the upmost importance to Cloth & Hide. We do not share or sell any information to third parties. All information collected by Cloth & Hide is used solely for the purpose of processing your order.
CLOTH & HIDE ACCOUNT
As a Cloth & Hide account holder, you agree that you will be personally responsible for the use of your account and for all of the communication and activity on and pursuant to this website. If we determine that you are or have been engaged in prohibited activities, were not respectful of the uses, or otherwise violated our terms, we may deny you access to the website on a temporary or permanent basis.
ORDER CANCELLATION BY US
At Cloth & Hide we will do our very best to ensure your order is fulfilled. However we reserve the right to cancel the order if we do not have sufficient stock. In the event of a cancellation , we will contact you via email within 24 hours of receiving your order. If we cannot fulfil the order, we will refund the full amount paid to your account immediately. Cloth & Hide will re- credit your account for the value of the goods plus shipping only. Please note that refunds can take up to 10 business days for your bank to complete, depending on their individual processing time.
INSURANCE AND DELIVERY
Unfortunately, we cannot be held responsible for packages that may become lost in transit. It is the responsibility of the receiver to locate packages. We will, however, do everything in our power to assist you. We highly suggest you select a delivery address you trust and preferably one where someone is able to receive and sign for the package.
CUSTOMS TAXES AND DUTIES
If a purchase is made outside of Australia, you, the buyer, are responsible for all customs and duties associated within your own country. For detailed information we recommend contacting your local customs office. We are legally required to declare the full value paid on all Cloth & Hide orders and must include the correct invoice for customs should they request it.
